The Irving Amateur Radio Club holds a monthly meeting at Betcha Bingo 2420 W. Irving Blvd in Irving, Texas on the fourth Thursday of the month, except for November, when we meet on the third Thursday of the month, to avoid conflicts with Thanksgiving. There is no formal meeting in December but there is a Christmas party in lieu of.

On the first Saturday of March we host an indoor Hamfest that attracts nearly 400 area Hams to consider the treasures on display on the aproximate 70 vendor tables inside the Betcha Bingo Hall in Irving Texas. Doors open at 8:00 AM, and there are hourly drawings for door prizes starting at 9:00 AM, with the grand prize drawing at 1:00 PM.

The club has a shack for the use of its members located at Betcha Bingo in Irving. One of the HF radios is available for member use remotely via Remote Hams. We are also active with POTA activating several parks as a club each year. In addition, several of our members activate parks as individuals.

We usually particiapte in some capacity in both the Winter Field Day and ARRL Field Day, either on our own or in partnership with other area clubs. We also support the City of Irving 4th of July and Christmas parades providing on-site communications.
