Founded in 2016, W7HEN has quickly grown into a hub for radio enthusiasts who love to learn, connect, and serve. From the southern edge of the Las Vegas Valley in Henderson, Nevada, our signal – and our spirit – reaches far beyond city limits. Whether you’re a brand-new operator or a seasoned DX chaser, you’ll find friends, mentors, and opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else.
We’re more than just a club – we’re a community. Our members come together to share knowledge, support one another, and advance the art and science of Amateur Radio. Expect lively nets, hands-on workshops, exciting events, and the kind of camaraderie that makes every QSO more memorable.
What you’ll be part of:
-
Tuesday Morning Breakfast Meetings – good food, good conversation, and plenty of radio talk to start your week right.
-
Sunday Evening Net at 7 PM – the perfect weekly roundup of news, updates, and fellowship.
-
Sunday Tek Net at 8 PM – dive deeper with technical topics and real-time problem solving.
-
Thursday New Ham Net at 6 PM – a friendly space for beginners to get on the air, ask questions, and build confidence.
-
Active Repeaters & Linked Systems – keeping our community connected across the valley and beyond via AllStar and EchoLink.
-
Events & Fellowship: From monthly meetings to public service events, technical classes, and social gatherings, there’s always something happening.
-
A Mission That Matters: Together we promote radio knowledge, operating skills, emergency preparedness, and community service across the Las Vegas Valley.
-
Lively Discord Server: A members' only Discord server to spot DX, chase down problems, share recipies, and enjoy life's precious moments.
Membership is open to everyone with an interest in Amateur Radio – and trust us, you’ll want to be a part of this. Visit www.w7hen.org today and join the club that’s making waves on the air and in the community.
Why just listen when you can be part of the conversation?
